About Cherrybrook Gymnastics Academy

Cherrybrook Gymnastics Academy was established in January 2026 and has already grown into a thriving and ambitious gymnastics club. From the very beginning, the Academy has been built around a passion for acrobatic gymnastics, with a strong emphasis on developing skills, confidence, teamwork and a love of the sport.

The Academy is coached by Charlotte and Cerys, both accomplished and successful gymnasts with a wealth of experience. Both coaches have competed at a high level and have achieved success at the British Championships, winning medals during their competitive careers. Their first-hand experience of training and competing at the highest levels gives them a fantastic understanding of what it takes to develop as a gymnast.

Charlotte is not only an experienced coach but also a qualified teacher, bringing valuable teaching experience and an understanding of how to help young people learn, develop and achieve their potential. Cerys also has an impressive background in performance and dance. From the age of 16 to 19, she attended The Hammond on a DaDA (Dance and Drama Award), studying ballet and dance for three years. This has given her an excellent foundation in movement, performance, discipline and presentation.

Together, Charlotte and Cerys bring a combination of competitive gymnastics experience, coaching knowledge, teaching expertise and performing arts training to Cherrybrook Gymnastics Academy. Their aim is to create an environment where every gymnast can develop their abilities, build confidence and enjoy being part of a team. The rapid growth of the Academy since its launch in January 2026 reflects the enthusiasm, commitment and quality that Charlotte and Cerys bring to every session.
